Ladybug Organics delivers boxes of fresh organic produce and groceries to homes throughout the Lower Mainland. We also have a Market open Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm. Location: #1B 9525 189th St. Surrey.

As a small business, we support local farmers (such as Mary Forstbauer in Chilliwack), co-operative organic farms (such as Glen Valley Organic farm in Abbotsford) and co-operative organic buying groups (such as Friesen Farms) whenever possible.

We service all those home-based offices, workers and professionals with long commutes and busy moms who want high quality and affordable organic produce every week but would rather not spend the time driving around the Fraser Valley to find their various groceries. We can do your organic shopping for you while you save time and enjoy life with friends and family in more fulfilling ways.

We began as a partnership of three individuals: Nyjal Brownson, Andrea Welling and Bob Sidebotham. Our small business started within our immediate community: Windsong Cohousing.

Andrea Welling was inspired to create Ladybug Organics from her spouse Nyjal, her academic studies and personal experience. "When Nyjal first started growing vegetables organically, I was overwhelmed with how much he could produce without chemicals on a small piece of land. The combination of vegetables, hot house and flowers was a beautiful and soul enriching experience." explains Andrea.

Nyjal Brownson grew up in New Zealand and has a back ground in architectural design. He left to go travelling for a supposedly short period in 1993. He cycled 5000 km in 16 months to Spain, Turkey, Morocco, France, Germany, Israel, India and Thailand. During his travels he absorbed, observed and learned rich cultures of market gardens and subsistence farming

Bob Sidebotham started with Ladybug after many years in the software business. Says Bob, "I wanted to do something a little different, something that would fill a need and provide me with meaningful work. Bob has now moved onto new projects although he still lives at Windsong and supports Ladybug on an "as needed basis" and as a customer.

Ladybug Organics has grown to include a strong team of vibrant, active and brilliant individuals. We couldn't do Ladybug without them!
